Manus had a very hypey launch in March of this year, and after raising from Benchmark at $500M in April and racing to $100M ARR on Dec 17, and Meta came calling. Over a 10 day period including the Christmas break, Alex Wang (and presumably his apps leader Nat Friedman) hammered out an acquisition for an estimated $4B price tag (comparable growth startups, admittedly in B2B, would fetch about 40-50x revenue in private markets.
