Gemini Introduces "Personal Intelligence": A New Era of Highly Personalized AI Assistance
Google has officially launched the beta of "Personal Intelligence" for Gemini, marking a pivotal shift from a general-purpose AI to a deeply contextual personal agent. This feature allows Gemini to securely connect with and synthesize data across Gmail, Google Photos, YouTube, and Google Search. By leveraging cross-app reasoning, Gemini can now provide tailor-made recommendations, complex travel planning, and proactive task management based on a user's unique life context. Users maintain full transparency and privacy control, with the ability to toggle app connections and the assurance that personal data is not used for model training. The feature is currently rolling out to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the United States.
